Embracing Renewal This Easter: A Journey of Faith and Reflection

A Time for New Beginnings

At this time of year, I sense not only new beginnings... I feel so enriched that my Savior lives. Yet, I can’t help but feel a profound loss for those who are lost.

I've looked forward to this Easter with a fresh fire for Jesus and a hope for incoming souls. I long for them to be trained to ignite the world they live in. From the start of my ministry 38 years ago to this very moment, seeing one soul accept Jesus is worth it all.

Interceding for Souls

As I intercede for souls to enter the kingdom, I also find myself led to pray for a renewal in the body of Christ at large. This renewal is coming, and I am certain that God is up to something really big. Yet, I haven’t quite secured what that may be.

For the last couple of years, I’ve watched as the words of Christ have been eradicated from the message. Opinions seem to matter most. We must renew our message of Christ!

I had a great pastor who taught us to obey the Word, be the Word, and preach the Word. I’ve held onto this teaching, even laughing inside when I’m told I’m too old-fashioned.

Staying Grounded in His Will

I must say that this approach keeps me grounded and secure in knowing that I am in God’s will. He said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). I’ve believed this is the mandate...

Now, let’s return to Easter.

Reflecting on His Sacrifice

During this season, I take time to reflect on what I just shared and ask myself: Have I kept it? Can I keep it? When Jesus was on that old cross, broken and bare... He never gave up. He could have, but He didn’t! God help me, I pray daily!

He took that punishment and forgave us of all sin. Yes, all of us—including our enemies! How can we deny such a great love as this?

A Season for Repentance

At this time, it’s a good season to repent and ask Jesus for guidance in what’s yet to come. We cry mercy. But lately, I’m crying discernment, Lord, over here. I need you, Lord.

It’s easy to be led astray in today’s society, but let us not forget... He came, He lived, He was tortured, and He was crucified FOR US. ALL OF US!

The Promise of His Birth and Death

It’s amazing that this scripture rings true for His birth and His crucifixion:

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6).

He did this for us, and now we share our hearts and bid you all the Best Easter—a Renewed Easter, a Time of Reflection, prayer, and remembering to share Him forward wherever we go.

Celebrating with Joy

Oh yes, have some fun too... Let’s celebrate this beautiful season with joy and gratitude.

Gracefully Yours,

Theresa

Enjoy!
