The Easter Season... a Reflection of Hope

Just Hanging with Molly!
Just Hanging with Molly!

At this time of the year I sense not only new beginnings... I feel so enriched that my Savior lives.

Yet I can't help but feel so great a loss at how many are LOST...

I've looked forward to this Easter with a fresh fire for Jesus and a hope of incoming souls that would be trained to ignite the world they live in.

From the start of ministry 38 years ago to this very present day, seeing one soul accept Jesus is worth it all.

Still, as I intercede for souls to enter the kingdom, I also find myself being led to pray for a renewal in the body at large.

This renewal is coming, and I am certain God is up to something really big. Yet I've not secured exactly what that may be.

For the last couple of years, as I watch the words of Christ himself being eradicated from the message, opinions seem to matter most. We must renew our message of CHRIST!

I had a great pastor who taught us to obey the Word and be the Word and preach the Word.

I've kept to this and have laughed inside myself when I'm told I'm too old-fashioned...

I must say that being this way keeps me grounded and secure that I am in God's will.

He said, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15)

I've believed this is the mandate...

Now back to Easter.

It is at this season I take time to reflect upon what I just shared and ask myself, have I, and can I keep it...

When Jesus was on that old cross, broken and bare... He never gave up. He could have, but He didn't!

God help me, I pray daily!

He took that punishment, and He forgave us of all sin. Yes all of us including our enemies!

How can we deny such a great love as this?

At this time, it's a good season to repent and ask Jesus to give us guidance in what's yet to come.

We cry mercy. But lately, I'm crying discernment, Lord, over here. I need you, Lord.

It's easy to be led astray in today's society, but let us not forget... He came, He lived, He was tortured, and He was crucified FOR US. ALL OF US!

It's amazing that this scripture rings true for His birth and His crucifixion:

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6).

He did this for us, and now we share our heart and bid you all the Best Easter, a Renewed Easter, a Time of Reflection, prayer, and remembering to share Him forward wherever we go.

Oh yes, have some fun too...

Gracefully Yours

Theresa

Enjoy!
