In this study of the royal priesthood, you will learn a few of the basic protocols of the kingdom and the palace of heaven. As we endeavor to understand the royal side of the kingdom, we will venture into the priesthood to confirm our callings and our destinies. The key scripture verse for this book comes from I Peter 2: 9 - “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light!” (emphasis added.)
We are chosen people! Called out, set apart. We are called out to total separation from the world, seated in the heavenlies, resting in God’s reality as the earth becomes a footstool.
Royalty is a set-apart group of people who are anointed by the clergy of their faith to be viewed as leaders of state and governments. It is an inherited position by blood right. We now have that very inheritance by the shed blood of Jesus, and we are grafted into the bloodline of God.
