Have You Lost Your MOTOVATION?

Motivation is that sneaky little engine inside us that revs up and steers us toward our goals. It can come from within (like a sudden burst of passion) or from outside (like the promise of a cookie), and it's vital for crushing goals, hurdling over life's little speed bumps, and finding that elusive thing called purpose.
There are two main flavors: intrinsic (the warm fuzzies from doing something you love) and extrinsic (the carrot-and-stick routine). It affects everything from getting out of bed to chasing those big dreams, influencing how long we stick with it, how hard we try, and whether we actually succeed.
UGH, have you been buried under a mountain of holiday plans, with more tasks than you can shake a turkey leg at?
Well, join the club...
I've been juggling a circus of my own, yet my brain is still buzzing with ideas. My first act every morning is to dive into the WORD and bask in His presence before I even think about anything else.
Then I do a 30-minute stretch routine, and I'm like UGH, here we go again.
But after my workout, I feel like a genius and can tackle anything.
The one thing I ask is how will this Glorify GOD?
Colossians 3:23-24: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters"
Yet, here I am, a mere mortal with dreams and visions galore.
I've been pondering whether to retire... then I decided NO, I'll refire. I could retire; the law says I'm old enough...
But somehow, in the Presence of our Lord, I can't. I feel the urge to keep going, keep dreaming, and keep being.
So as I gear up for the new year, I'm convinced I can do what He asks of me.
This>>> is a favorite scripture of mine Philippians 4:13: "I can do all this through him who gives me strength"
It keeps my motivation humming and gives me the power to imagine what's possible.
So I encourage us all to COMMIT to GOD whatever we do, and I believe it will turn into a blessing.
Proverbs 16:3: "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans."
So dear friends, I want to say this to you: YES YOU CAN!!
