What am I doing in this extreme cold? Baking! While doing KETO!

It's really cold out... like -10 with a windchill of 25 below.
I woke up and was so grateful that I had a small heater in my bedroom that kept the room at 61 degrees. Great for sleeping, yes, but BURRRRR.
As I started down the steps, I felt it. Ugh, the house is probably at 50-something. So on went the stove and the fireplace. Well, hubby had that already running. I started the stove to BAKE!
As I stepped into the kitchen, I had to smile that Birdie, the pup, was already in her sweater and laying next to an oil-filled electric radiator. BTW, my house was built in 1907... a bit of help needed...
I thought I'll practice making hot cross buns for Easter.
The bake stand opens Saturday before Easter, and I'm trying...
Do you know how hard it is to make these while on a Keto diet?
Well, I finally found a recipe, and I'm working on it.
UGH A Fail...
THEY small good taste Awful... But i did make Keto Brownies and They Are good ( FROM A BOX)
But im not giving up I need to make the Hot Cross buns for Easter And Ill use a Conventional Recipe with Yeast ..
But i'm bot sad or heartbroken.. Im learning

So why is it so mportant to me to make Hot Cross Buns? Luke 22:19

he was going to the cross ....

When its warmer and i can go buy some yeast ill show what they should really look like
