voe@voe.org I awoke with another warning dream. I won't go into details, but the Lord revealed to me the activity of "hindering spirits," and the underlying reason for these spirits to hinder the prophetic voices, was the threat caused by the new levels of "prophetic revelation" that is being released in our time. Daniel 12 indicates, that in the last days, "Knowledge will be increased, and this alludes to spiritual - prophetic understanding.
When Communism fell in Eastern Europe, I traveled several times to Bulgaria and Romania, preaching on this theme, "The Future According to the Bible," a strong end-time revelation. Over several trips, I saw thousands come to Christ!! Today, many of the young men that were converted to Christ back in the late 80's and early 90's, pastor great churches that they started in these nations.
Because of the vexing times, the unsaved will often take note of a prophetic message, and respond by repentance, when they can see how the prophecies are coming to pass. Paul wrote, that because of the abundance of the revelation (visions and dreams) he was receiving, he was also given a thorn in the flesh a messenger (literally angel) of Satan to buffet him, or to "strike against him continually."
Note that throughout the Bible, many strong prophetic voices, ended up in the jail, or dungeons, or on the run, as most of the people, and leaders, rejected the warnings. Elijah, Jeremiah, Miciah, John the Baptist, to name a few. Even the Jezebel spirit was always after the heads (the voices) of men who were impacting their generation (example Elijah, and John the Baptist).
In 2 Corinthians 12, when Paul requested three times that God remove this thorn, God said, "My grace is enough for you." God saw Paul through many horrific times, although the man suffered greatly throughout his ministry - 22 different negative things (2 Corinthians 11). Paul's had a final season of relief, for 2 years, (Acts 28) when he lived in Rome, before the great fire.
Finally, in 1992, at the International Prophecy Conference, there were over 22 strong prophetic ministers in America, writing books and using media to reach the masses. Today, in 2021, from that original group only about 3 remain, as most have passed away. It reminds me of the deaths of the men prior to the flood of Noah, the last man being Methuselah. When old Met died, the flood hit.
I refer back to the scriptures of, "enduring until the end" (Matt. 24:13). Just remember, our main sign, indicating the end, is when the Gospel is preached as a witness in all nations" (Matt. 24:14). Hope you have a good family time and keep your eyes on Jesus.
This Fourth of July, America commemorates its āSupercentennialā anniversaryāmarking 250 years of being one nation under God. Throughout Scripture, the Lord often instructs His people to remember His acts of salvation, faithfulness, and provision (see Deuteronomy 4:9; Psalm 77:11). As we celebrate Americaās 250th birthday, I believe it is only fitting for us to reflect on the blessings of Americaās legacy and the sacrifices that made those blessings possible. Two and a half ce
JULY 4TH THE FIGHT FOR INDEPENDENCE AGAIN... I remember the days when July 4th meant a great parade, a family cookout, and time at the park. The park was alive with the community waving flags, smiling people setting up encampments, each with their own grill. Hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, watermelon, and soda pop all on the menu. Play on the swings, have a ball game, walk the park over and over again waving the small flags in hand. Then we would stand in line for a popsicle or w
