I awoke to singing I surrender all I surrender all All To Jesus Precious Savior I Surrender All.
I was immediately thinking of how Jesus surrendered all to his Father on the cross.
Willing to suffer for our sins and shame.
He took those nasty stripes on his back He was Scourged Mocked and Ridiculed... Yet he surrendered.
I my mind raced to pilot asking are you "king of the Jews?".
In Mark 15:2, Jesus confirms to Pilate that he is the King of the Jews and says nothing further.
Luke 23;3 And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it.
I love this... His wisdom was amazing... He always answers with dignity and wisdom
James 4: 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
Today singing I surrender all I was wondering why some things are not answered and here it is in the Holy Writ we ask amiss.
We must ask according to the will of the Father that is in this present moment.
What is your will? How do I accomplish your will? Am I in your will?
That is answered by surrender.
Our emotions
Our wants
Our decrees
Our beings
Our Everything in that moment of asking.
O my it is difficult to notice all this in a moment of need, but it can become a way of life
That way of surrender That still small voice that says Yes.
Friends I love you
Ask and you will receive Yes. But first, let’s surrender all to Jesus our Precious Savior we surrender all.
